The Human Resource Management degree is focused on human services career preparation. If you are stimulated by challenging personnel issues that affect a person’s job and enjoy working with people and data – a degree in Human Resource Management can provide you with the practical skills for management and specific employment practices.

For many years you did not need a college degree to get a management job in human resource management.  Today it takes more than just desire – it takes a degree.  The minimum requirement is to have a BA/BS in human resource management or related field.  This is largely due to the change of the human resource function in corporate America from managing the personnel process to more of a strategic role.  We now function within business units as partners and are asked our thoughts regarding major decisions related to change, motivation, and improvement in general.

The Human Resource Management major at Judson prepares students for a career in human services, as well as Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM) certification.

  • Pursue a variety of rewarding careers with a degree in Human Resource Management
  • Develop the skills needed to advance in your current position, or begin a career for the first time

If you are looking for a quality programs, taught by people who love what they teach – this is the program for you.
