The Management of Technology Systems program is a unique degree option designed for two groups of individuals: 1) those who desire to transition into a career managing technology resources, and 2) technical managers who desire to complete their undergraduate degree from a management perspective. The demand for technology managers of all kinds continues to exceed supply and this trend is expected to continue for some time. Employers are asking for technologists who have good business ideas, management skills, and understand how technology affects the bottom line. The U.S. Department of Labor states that employment of computer support specialists and systems administrators is expected to increase by 18 percent from 2006 to 2016, which is much faster than the average of all occupations. Now is a good time to pursue the Management of Technology Systems degree.
